Psychology 200 - This class turned out to be a lecture hall......well, actually, the way it was set up, it felt like a movie theater. It even had a viewing screen up front, but that was just for seeing notes on slides. The teacher is a nice guy.....he made the course seem interesting (which it is) and gave us a good outlook on the whole thing. He told some interesting stories too..........really interesting. Like, he talked about this old collegue of his who had a strange classroom policy. One of his rules was 'You must wear shoes at all time.' 'Course anyone who heard this would say, "Well of course I'm gonna wear shoes.......why wouldn't I?" It turns out he had a severe foot fetish.....and would get extremely aroused just by seeing a bare foot..... XDD
Japanese 102 - Man, what the hell.....the classroom was SUPER small. I mean really small. It had four rows, with only about five seats in each row. As the Japanese might say, "とても小さなだったぜ" (It was very small). I felt as if we were just a big can of sardines. ._. Though, I have a strong hunch the course will be just as much of a breeze as last semester. 信じてよ！ (What you would REALLY translate into "believe it!") :p
Calculus 241 - Thank GOD I have a different teacher.....last semester's teacher was absolutely horrible. On the down side, this class is a lot bigger than Calc 141, so it won't be as easy to get to know all the other students. It was easy in 141, because we were such a small group. In any case, only time will tell how I fare in this class. >>
Physics 205 Lab - Interestingly enough, I've had to go to the lab for Physics before I even go to the first lecture hall. That was just the way my schedule turned out, but whatever. For our first lab, we did a lot of stuff on vectors and learning how to use this program that lets you draw shapes using the mechanics of vectors. It was cool, but god damn it, the computers we were using had SUCH a slow server drag going on. I swear, at one point, it would take like a minute just to open another window or any other such miniscule tasks. >_<
And hurray, I don't have any homework after my first day!
Disregarding the Psychology pages I need to read for Wednesday.
