If any of you bastards bother to show up for my funeral, please be aware that there will be a nice lady at the door and she will have tags that say
MY NAME IS __________ AND
I AM PACHI'S ______________.
She will have a Sharpie, and she will write your name and your relationship to me. I will be haunting the vicinity and I will expect to see them slap on your party dresses. If you can't give a satisfactory answer the nice lady will write down whatever she deems fit, such as ETERNAL RIVAL or LOVE SLAVE.
Okay, so my State Military cosplay finally arrived in the mail today. Naturally, I was stoked. But when I went to open the package, guess what?
I SPECIFICALLY ordered an XL. You know what they sent me? A frickin' L!! >O
So the pants won't even zip up, and the jacket will button but it's tight. Son of bitch, this seller had 99.5 POSITIVE FEEDBACK!! And they're an official company from Hong Kong!! That type of seller isn't supposed to make mistakes like this. I mean, geez, the brown package it was in has a big frickin' "L" written right on it! Can they read?! Now I have to wait like another week or so before I can get the right size! It better be here in time for Otakon, dammit! >O
Colleen Clinkenbeard announced at CLAMP's main panel at Anime Expo that she would be directing FUNimation's upcoming release of Tsubasa Chronicle. Auditioning is currently in process and no release date has been set for the title yet.
Now if we can just get Daniel Katsuk or Eric Vale cast as Syaoran, and Vic cast as Fai, I will love Colleen forever. :DD

So about twenty minutes ago, I'm lounging on the couch in the living room, waiting for my mom to get home. And she does. She comes into the kitchen with some groceries(which, as our house works, is connected directly to the living room, with no wall inbetween) and doesn't see me. For two whole minutes, as I remain perfectly still only two meters away from her, she doesn't see me. Despite the fact that the couch is EASILY visible out of the corner of your eye at the place she was standing. Finally she goes upstairs and starts going "Sam! You here?"
I wonder, if I hadn't called up to her right then, would she have eventually called child protection services? I swear, my mother is the most oblivious person in the entire world. XD
So, just got myself Volume 1 of Elemental Gelade (Erementar Gerad) the other day. I have to say I was a little dissapointed when I found out Geneon gave this one to the Ocean Group for the dubbing. So the dub isn't as good as it could be. But it's not bad either, and at least the character voices aren't extremely annoying like in Inuyasha. Except for Cisqua.......she has Shippou's VA and sometimes sounds EXACTLY like him. >>;
This is also why I prefer FUNimation when it comes to DVDs......the subtitles on this disc weren't very good. Like, there are many times when Rowan says "Cisqua-senpai", but often the subtitle only said "Senpai". Darn it, if I hear someone refer to a character by name, I expect the subtitle to say that name! The majority of the translation was spot on, but it was weird in other spots. Like, for the first few episodes, the subtitles for the ending theme only displayed the lyrics in romanji. Then on the 4th and 5th episodes of the disc, it showed them in English only. @_@; I mean, make up their minds already!
All in all, I still like the original version best. Akira Ishida as Cou is hard to beat, but his English VA is good as well. I just wish I knew WHO was voicing Cou in English. I think it might be Kirby Morrow, but I don't know because the credits only lists the Japanese VAs. Well, it lists some English VAs too, but it puts their names under "Featuring the Voices Of", instead of actually saying who voices who. o_o Why they don't say is beyond me......seems pretty stupid to not give a proper cast list, if you ask me. =_=
Job hunting. Total successes? Zero. Hope of getting hired? Zero.
More to come when I care enough to talk about it.
